Simply business model

Gelatino is a simple business to operate. There is no manufacturing to worry about. The products are delivered to your store. There is no real preparation, no kitchen, no need for skilled staff, and very minimal waste.

Our gelato averages 95% fat free compared to the traditional ice-cream and our sorbets are 99% fat free. We have a wide range of flavours, with new flavours always being developed with monitoring our customer trends in Australia and overseas.

Assisting in negotiating contacts and lease arrangements

Gelatino's commitment with its franchisees does not end with the training.

Advertising contributions from all stores are received on a weekly basis. These funds are used to provide;

Brand building, promotional and retail marketing for all Gelatino stores.
Group advertising helps to increase Gelatino's brand and product awareness in all area of store locations and is uniformed to build the brand.
Campaigns are targeted to increase the sales and to maintain the awareness of the Gelatino brand.

Marketing for your store

Gelatino also provides advertising and guidance on a local level, with the use of corporate logo and guidelines. All additional local store marketing activities a franchisee would like to implement are first approved by the Marketing Manager before implantation. Local community activities and events are encouraged to be involved in by Gelatino.

What's the next step I need to take?

Firstly you must request a Franchise application form from contact us down the bottom of the page. Complete the Franchise application form once you have received it and return to Gelatino Franchising as directed.

An initial 'one to one' meeting may then be arranged at which time you can ask any questions and decide weather you wish to proceed.

You will then be advised to undertake your own research into the Gelatino group before making the decision to go ahead in the business.

We will then arrange a second meeting where we will be able to answer any further questions in regards to the Gelatino concept and the Gelatino franchise system. A confidentiality agreement is signed before any specific store locations and information is provided.

A final meeting is then arranged where we will provide you with the Disclosure Documents, and a copy of the Franchise agreement and other relevant documents.

You will then need to seek independent legal and accounting advice on all documents you receive and Gelatino will complete credit and reference checks.

A Gelatino store visit will be arranged, so that you can get a first hand experience of the day-to-day operations. This will also enable you to make a more informed decision as to whether you will still wish to proceed.

On acceptance by Gelatino with all documents signed we will then commence your new Gelatino business and receive 4 weeks comprehensive training (without pay). During this time you will learn the Gelatino system and methods in detail. The company is committed to providing all reasonable support and specialist expertise to give franchisees the best opportunity to succeed right from the very start.

Terms and conditions

Your enquiry does not oblige or bind either party in any way in relation to offering or acceptance of a Gelatino franchise.
Gelatino and its agents make no guarantees or promises in relation to the profitability or success of a Gelatino franchise. You will be required to undertake your own research and form your own conclusions as to the viability and suitability of a Gelatino franchise.
You will be required to submit your application and confidentiality agreement prior to the release of the Gelatino Disclosure Document.
The Gelatino franchise Agreement is a standard document.
You will be required to thoroughly read and understand the Disclosure Document. You should obtain independent legal, commercial and accounting advice, at your own expense.
At all times, the Disclosure Document remains the property of Gelatino and is used expressly for the purpose of evaluating a Gelatino franchise by a potential franchisee. Copies may not be made of the Disclosure documentation without the express permission of Gelatino.
